Ordinance
# 71-3 (Indian River County Zoning Ordinance) approved September
8, 1971 established Board of Adjustment; Ordinance
#73-2 approved February 7, 1973 provided for the appointment of
5 members; Ordinance 75-1 approved January 21, 1975 redefined the functions, powers
and duties of the Board of Zoning Adjustment; and Ordinance
2001-020 amended County Code 103.03.(3) to delete the requirement that
a member of the Building Code Board of Adjustment and Appeals
be a representative of the Board of Zoning Adjustment.
Total
of 5 members appointed by the BCC. Members serve a 2-year
term.
Meetings
are held on the second Monday of each month at 3:00 p.m. at
the County Administration Building A, 1801 27th Street, Vero Beach 32960 in the Commission Chambers.
Note:
Per chapter 2000-243, Laws of Florida, new board members are
required to complete a full financial disclosure (Form 6)
or a limited financial disclosure (Form 1), and upon leaving,
must file a final disclosure statement within 60 days. Failure
to do so will be subject to automatic fines of $25 for each
late day, up to a cap of $1,500. |
