Resolution
No. 2005-120 approved August 2, 2005 established the Indian River County
Conservation Lands Advisory Committee.
The Committee shall elect from among its voting members a
Chairman and a Vice Chairman annually at its first meeting
in January, or at its next meeting if no meeting is held in
January. Each chair and vice chair shall serve for a one-year
term and may be reelected but shall be limited to two successive
annual terms, at which point they would be ineligible to chair
the committee for at least one year.
The Indian
River County Conservation Lands Advisory Committee shall have
seven (7) voting members who are residents of Indian River
County and shall consist of the following persons:
One (1)
representative from the Environmental Learning Center
One (1)
representative from Friends of St. Sebastian River
One (1)
representative from the Indian River Land Trust
One
(1) representative from the Indian River County Mosquito Control
District
One (1) representative from the Pelican Island Audubon Society
One
(1) representative from the University of Florida Medical
Entomology Laboratory
One
(1) representative from Eugenia Chapter of the Florida Native
Plant Society
Members serve a two-year term.
Meetings are held every other month on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 10:00 a.m. at the Indian River Administration Complex, 1801 27th Ave, Bldg "A", Vero Beach, FL in Conference Room A1-411. |
