In May
of 2003 the County and the School Board entered into an Interlocal
Agreement for public school planning. Per Section 1.4 of that
agreement, the County, the School Board, the City of Fellsmere,
the City of Sebastian, and the City of Vero Beach each shall
appoint one member to the Citizen Oversight Committee.
Per Section 11.2, the Citizen Oversight Committee will monitor
implementation of the Interlocal Agreement, and report to
participating local governments, the School Board and the
general public on the effectiveness with which the Interlocal
Agreement is being implemented.
