2019-2020 Children Services Advisory Committee Request for Proposal
The Children's Services Advisory Committee (CSAC), an advisory committee to the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners, is now accepting applications for the new grant period beginning October 1, 2019 through September 30, 2020. This Request for Proposal (RFP) allows not-for-profit and for-profit organizations, government agencies and individuals, to apply for funding of programs for Indian River County children.

Resolution #90-167 created Children Service Advisory Committee; Resolution #93-151 approved 9/7/93 reorganized Children's Services Advisory Committee; Ordinance #97-17 provided for Children Services Network; Ordinance #99-01 amended Chapter 103 of Code-name changed to Children Services Advisory Committee at BCC meeting of 1/19/99. Ordinance 2003-010 approved March 11, 2003 provides that Commissioners serve as a non-voting liaison.
12 Voting Members: (5) Appointed by the BCC to represent his/her district; (2) Members-at-Large appointed by the BCC; (5) Ex-Officio Voting Members: (1) Judge, (1) Superintendent of Schools, (1) Dept. of Children & Families, Asst. District Administrator for Indian River County (IRC), (1) Dept. of Health, County Health Dept. Administrator, (1) Law Enforcement Officer. Members serve a 4-year term.
