Resolution
No. 2010-034 approved May 4, 2010 dissolved and sunsetted the
Utilities Advisory Council (UAC).
Resolution
2003-134 dated October 21, 2003 reestablished and restructured the
Utilities Advisory Council (UAC). This resolution repeals
and replaces Resolutions 97-37 .
The Committee
shall elect from among its voting members a chairman and a
vice chairman annually at its first meeting in January, or
at its next meeting if no meeting is held in January. A County
Commissioner who will serve as a non-voting liaison to the
committee. Each chair and vice chair shall serve for a one-year
term and may be reelected but shall be limited to two successive
annual terms, at which point they would be ineligible to chair
the committee for at least one year.
The Utilities
Advisory Committee shall be composed of seven (7) voting members
appointed by the Board of County Commissioners. Members must
be residents of Indian River County with membership as follows:
Each
County Commissioner shall have the authority to make one appointment
(5) to the Committee. A person appointed by each Commissioner
shall have utility or finance experience.
There
shall be (2) two members at-large appointed by a majority
vote of the Board of County Commissioners.
Members
serve a two-year term.
Meetings
are held quarterly on the first Thursday of each month at
2:00 p.m., at the County Administration
Building B, 1800 27th Street, Vero Beach, FL in
Conference Room B1-501. |
