Statement of Function
The General Services Department is a multifunctional department composed of both related and unrelated divisions providing both internal and external services. The internal functioning divisions providing services to other agencies within the County Government are the Facilities Management Division; The Mailroom and Switchboard Services; the Telecommunications Division; and the Purchasing Division. External functioning divisions providing primary service to the general public are the County Libraries; Shooting Range; Veteran Services; Agricultural Extension Office; Soil and Water Conversation; and the Housing Authority.
