The Capital Projects Division manages the professional design and construction of infrastructure improvements. Associated services include real estate acquisition; community involvement; contract negotiation and administration; technical plan review; grant acquisition and compliance; utility coordination; permit acquisition and compliance; and construction management and inspection. The Capital Projects Division provides support to other Divisions and Departments with these same services. Projects include major roadways, intersection improvements, bridges, recreation areas, and County facilities. Through effective management, the Division builds projects that are useful, safe and durable at a reasonable cost.
