Statement of Function
The Facilities Management Division is responsible for the daily upkeep, operation and overall maintenance of 66 County owned facilities to provide a clean and safe working environment for employees and the general public. This involves establishing preventative maintenance tasks and programs, equipment repair; replacement and maintenance and the remodeling and renovations of the facilities..

2018/2019 Goals and Objectives
• Have the Administration Complex sealed and painted.
• Oversee the remodel of the IRC Courthouse which will create a new court room and added office space for the Clerk of Court staff.
• Replace the roof on the IRC Courthouse and waterproof the windows, pressure wash and paint the building as well as the Parking Garage.
• Change out the A/C control boxes on the third floor of the Courthouse.
• Continue to replace outdated Johnson Controls with Trane controls and continue to move forward until the buildings are 100% complete.
• Finish replacing and repairing the storm drains at the Admin.
• Maintain the Landscaping and Grounds on 66 County buildings and trim trees.
• Complete work orders in a more timely and efficient manner.
• Have generator projects for Road and Bridge, Traffic and Facilities completed before next year’s Hurricane Season.
