| Ambersands Beach is located on 12566 North A1A within the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge. It is approximately 6 miles North of County Road 510. Ammenities include an unpaved parking area and boardwalk access to the beach. Hours are from 7:00 am until sunset. | ||||||

Turtles Please remember that all sea turtles are protected by federal and state laws. Of the eight species of sea turtles worldwide, five are found in Florida. Sea turtles deposit from 40,000 to 70,000 nests in Florida annually which makes this the most important nesting area in the United States.
