Design and Construction Related Activities

• Complete construction of the Egret Marsh Regional Stormwater Park and place the facility in operation
• Complete engineering design of the Phase II and III stormwater improvements to Vero Lake Estates subdivision
• Begin construction of Phase II and III stormwater improvements to Vero Lake Estates subdivision
• Complete engineering design of the Rockridge Surge Protection Project
• Begin construction of the Rockridge Surge Protection Project
• Complete engineering design of the Main Relief Canal, North Relief Canal, and South Relief Canal stormwater treatment projects
• Begin construction of the Main Relief Canal and North Relief Canal stormwater treatment projects
• Begin design of an Algal Turf Scrubber System near the Oslo Solid Waste Transfer Station

Stormwater Education Related Activities

• Provide educational information to the Press Journal for special section on environmental news.
• Promote Best Management Practices to local landscaping and lawn care businesses as a way to curb pollution caused by stormwater runoff.
• Promote the Officer Snook Water Pollution Program to all schools at all grade levels.
• Update our Stormwater Section on the County’s website throughout the year.
• Participate in the Storm Drain Marking Program
• Promote good waste management practices on construction sites.
• Develop illicit discharge brochure.
• Develop or obtain stormwater pollution prevention training modules/videos for each category including:  Pesticides; Herbicides and Fertilizers; Good Housekeeping; Fuels, Oils, and Lubricants; Construction and Land Disturbance; and Stormwater System Maintenance.

Stormwater Enforcement Related Activities

• Focus on Construction Waste Management Best Management Practices during site inspections.
• Work with County Surveyor to identify and map priority-screening areas.
