On March, 2009 The Board of County Commissioners established a Complete Count Committee with the following characteristics:
A. The local committee should be called the "Indian River County Census 2010 Community Action Committee".
B. The committee shall be active until June 2010.
C. The committee shall have fifteen members, and members should consist of:
a) One representative from the Board of County Commissioners
b) Five leaders from areas of the county with a high percentage of minorities
*two representatives from the Gifford area
*one representative from the Oslo area
*one representative from the Wabasso area
*one representative from the Fellsmere area
c) One representative from the School Board
d) One representative from the City of Vero Beach appointed by the city council
e) One representative from the City of Sebastian appointed by the city council
f) One representative for City of Fellsmere appointed by the city council
g) One representative for Town of Indian River Shores appointed by the town council
h) One representative from Town of Orchid appointed by the town council
i) One representative from a local business
j) One representative from a local faith-based organization
k) One representative from the local media
Meetings are held as needed. Minutes are taken by the Commission Office.
