Ambersands Beach is open for your enjoyment

The Sebastian Inlet District has completed a beach enhancement project on and around Ambersands Beach Park (12566 North A1A). Additionally, the Indian River County, Parks and Conservation Resources Division has completed a dune crossover deck replacement project at this park. Please enjoy your beaches responsibly.
 
Ambersands Beach is located on 12566 North A1A within the Archie Carr National Wildlife Refuge. It is approximately 6 miles North of County Road 510. Ammenities include an unpaved parking area and boardwalk access to the beach. Hours are from sunrise to sunset.
Sea Turtles
Please remember that all sea turtles are protected by federal and state laws. Of the eight species of sea turtles worldwide, five are found in Florida. Sea turtles deposit from 40,000 to 70,000 nests in Florida annually which makes this the most important nesting area in the United States. Females lay their eggs on sandy beaches and may lay several nests during one season. For more infromation on sea turtles, click here.
