Beach Park Closures
Turtle Trail Beach Park will be closed from February 5, 2018 – February 28, 2018 for dune repairs.
Golden Sands Beach Park will be closed from February 19th - March 2, 2018 for dune repairs.
Development Review and Permit Process Advisory Committee
The Development Review and Permit Process Advisory Committee was established on July 11, 2017 by the BCC. The committee will focus on identifying and making recommendations on items to improve and/or streamline the development review and permit process and on items identified by staff. FECI introduced a proposal for a high speed rail service known as All Aboard Florida or Brightline, with passenger service between Miami and Orlando with additional stations in Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. BCC 03/13/18 - to consider adoption of five proposed ordinances modifying the Land Development Regulations (LDRs)
Beginning October 18, 2017, maintenance of the hydrant system in the central and south county areas will begin and will continue over the next few months. Hydromax, the county’s contractor, will be conducting the maintenance program. During the maintenance period, hydrants will be flushed, repaired and repainted. The process of periodically flushing fire hydrants is an important preventive maintenance activity.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Indian River County has prepared an updated Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal for the expenditure of Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds for Fiscal Years 2018, 2019, and 2020 in compliance with Federal Regulations (49 CFR Part 26.45). Indian River County proposes that 2.2% of all FTA funds that the County will expend in FTA-assisted contracts for each fiscal year will be let to qualified DBE firms. More Information
