Housing Grant Programs
Through the federal American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act funding program, the Indian River County Board of County Commissioners is providing one-time grants to qualifying non-profit housing providers operating in Indian River County, negatively affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Non-Profit Housing Rehabilitation Program – RENO
The grant is limited to one application per non-profit, including organizations with multiple locations within Indian River County. One-time grants of up to $400,000 may be used for rehabilitation, repair, and remodeling of multifamily housing facilities after March 3, 2021. Please see application for details.
Non-Profit Housing Construction Program – CENO
The grant is limited to one application per non-profit, including organizations with multiple locations within Indian River County. One-time grants of up to $60,000 per unit may be used for construction of affordable duplex, townhomes, and apartment units for disadvantaged populations after March 3, 2021. A maximum of $180,000 is available per award. Please see application for details.
Low Income Housing Tax Credit Application – LIHTC
This grant opportunity is available for one qualified Non-Profit and/or For-Profit multi-family housing developer (rental units), seeking developer selection preference under the Local Government Areas of Designation of a Florida Housing Finance Corporation Request for Applications.
