Indian River County does not intend these third party links to be referrals or endorsements of the linked entities by the County, and are provided for convenience only. Each individual site has its own set of policies about what information is appropriate for public access. User assumes sole responsibility for use of third party links.

Restrictions

Content provided on Indian River County web sites is restricted to Indian River County government business and programs and is not intended as a mechanism for advertising or supporting a particular policy, program, issue, party, platform, for-profit business, non-profit organization, or individual.

Public Record

Florida has a very broad public records law. As a result, any written communication created or received by Indian River County officials and employees will be made available to the public and media, upon request, unless otherwise exempt. Furthermore, under Florida law, email addresses are public records. If you do not want your email address released in response to a public records request, do not send electronic mail to this entity. Instead, contact our office by phone or in writing.

Privacy

Indian River County provides information about County government programs and services on several third-party social media sites such as Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. Those sites are governed by the terms, conditions, and privacy policies as defined on each site.  Indian River County reserves the right to remove or hide inappropriate content, including, but not limited to:

  • Comments that are clearly off topic from the posted topics;

  • Information that may compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems;
